Who we are

What we collect

Only what we need to quote a driveway and turn up at the right one:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you give us one
• The street address of the property to be sealed
• Anything you choose to tell us about the driveway, such as its size or condition

You give us this in one of two places: the quote form on this website, or a lead form on a Facebook or Instagram advert. When you use a form inside Facebook or Instagram, Meta fills some of it in from your profile and passes it to us. Meta's own handling of your data is covered by their privacy policy, not this one.

What we do not collect

This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixel, no Google tag and no tracking cookies. We are not building a profile of you, and we cannot see what else you browse. If that ever changes this page changes with it.

We never ask for payment card details, bank details or a Social Security number, on this site or on a form. If something claiming to be us asks you for those, it is not us.

What we use it for

• Working out a price for your driveway and sending it to you
• Contacting you about that quote and scheduling the work
• Getting the contractor to the correct address on the right day
• Invoicing and our own records once a job is done

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to marketing lists.

Calls and text messages

Giving us your phone number means we may call or text you about your own quote. That is the whole of it. We do not run text marketing campaigns and we will not add you to a list. Reply STOP to any message and the texts stop. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. If you would rather we only email, say so and we will only email.

Who else sees it

Two kinds of people, and no others:

• The contractor doing your driveway. They get your name, address and phone number, because they cannot do the work without them. They are bound to use it for your job and nothing else.
• The services that run our forms and email. Our quote form is delivered by Web3Forms and our advert forms by Meta. They process the message on our behalf.

We will also hand information over if the law actually requires it. We are not going to pretend otherwise.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that never become jobs: we clear them out after about a year. Completed jobs: we keep the record for as long as our tax and accounting obligations require, which is several years. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your choices

Email hello@daytonsealcoating.com and ask us to send you what we hold on you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form to fill in and no hoop to jump through. We will do it and write back to confirm.

Children

This is a driveway sealcoating business. Our forms are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top. The date is the honest signal: if it has not moved, nothing has changed.
